多年来一直从事仪器分析和药物分析的教学和科研工作，主编了《高等仪器分析实验与技术》，副主编第八版《分析化学》，并担任药物分析杂志编委、中国药学英文版编委、中国药学会药物分析委员会委员、中国医药生物技术协会药物分析技术分会委员会常务委员、北京市药学会药物分析委员会委员等。对药物分析新技术新方法及在医药领域中的应用做了大量的研究工作，主持和参加了“国家自然基金”、“北京自然基金”、“国家教育部博导基金”、“国家重大新药创制药物代谢子平台和药物质量控制子平台”、“973课题”、“国家支撑计划”、和“天然药物及仿生药物国家重点实验室开放基金”等多项科研项目。申请中国发明专利7项，并在Anal. Chem.、Anal. Chim. Acta、Analyst、Talanta、Biosens. Bioelectro.、J Chromatogr. A、Euro. J. Pharm. Sci.、Anal. Bioanal. Chem.、J. Pharm. Biomed. Anal.、Electrophoresis、高等学校化学学报、分析化学、药物分析杂志等本专业高水平学术期刊发表相关学术论文90多篇。
